Yes - up to 40 songs, and every one gets played. Your special-moment songs are locked to the minute. The rest I place where they work: floor-fillers on the floor, slow songs and sing-alongs at dinner or cocktail hour. If a song would empty a packed floor, it moves earlier; it never disappears.

Do you take a deposit to hold a date?

I take a 50% retainer, non-refundable, and it holds the date the moment it clears. If your plans change and the new date is open, it moves with you rather than being lost. The remaining 50% is due on the first of the month before the wedding. Overtime is $250 per hour, settled afterward.

I do not subcontract, I do not double-book a Saturday, and the person who walks your hall on a weeknight is the person carrying the speakers through the side door on the day. SIU Student Center & the Civic Center. The Student Center ballroom handles 500 with event coordination built in; the Civic Center gives 8,000-plus sq ft, a catering kitchen, and parking for 750. Both are big, wide rooms where a system placed well beats a bigger one placed badly.

Dancing on a Cloud — $300 Add-On

For four minutes, the floor disappears. A low, rolling cloud of chilled fog fills the dance floor and stops at the ankles, so on the stone floor at Giant City Lodge, or in the Courtyard at Garden Grove with the string lights up, the two of you appear to be standing on it. It stays down on the floor rather than in the air, keeping your photographer's shots clean, and clears in minutes with nothing left behind. Cleared with the venue at the walk-through, same invoice as the DJ.
