One set of tiers everywhere — a flat zone fee is the only thing that changes by city, and it's always shown as its own line.

Extra hour $100/hr on every tier. Travel is always its own line item — never blended into the package price. Add a photo booth for $300, no separate delivery charge when bundled with your DJ booking.

Overnight policy: lodging is billed separately at $200/room/night when an overnight stay is reasonably required (Zone 5–6 bookings, late end times, early load-in) and is disclosed in your quote before you sign.

Who actually shows up to DJ my party?

Terry Tunks, every time — no subcontractors, no rotating staff. The person you talk to on the phone runs your sound and mic on the day.

How does booking work?

We talk through your date on a free 20–30 minute call. After that, I hold your date for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Is there a travel fee?

It depends on the city. Evansville and the immediate area are Zone 1 with no fee; everywhere else carries a flat zone fee shown as its own line in your quote — never blended into the package price. Find your city in the list below.

Do you ever need to stay overnight?

For farther-out dates it depends on the schedule. If load-in, teardown, or a late end time makes the drive home unsafe, lodging is billed separately at $200 per room per night and disclosed in your quote before you sign.

Do you walk the room before booking?

You'll meet me before you book me. Nearby, that's me standing in the space with you; farther out, it's a video walk-through with whoever's hosting, before anything is signed.

Can you play clean versions for a mixed crowd?

Yes. Tell me who's in the room — kids, grandparents, coworkers — and I'll keep it clean. I'd rather know ahead of time than guess mid-party.

How early do you arrive to set up?

60 to 90 minutes before the start time. Setup and teardown are built into the package and never eat into your hours.

Can I take song requests during the party?

Always. Reading the room includes working in requests without losing the momentum you already have on the floor.
