Oakland City is a tree-lined Gibson County town of a couple thousand people that turns out every August for the Sweet Corn Festival at Wirth Park — parade, car show, live music, and a corn-eating contest. It's the kind of place where a backyard party pulls in half the block, and where a family reunion at the park shelter is a real event. Oakland City sits in Spectrum Sound's Zone 1 — no travel fee — and Terry brings the same rig and the same attention here as to any booking in Evansville. The town's coal-mining and railroad roots still show along Main Street, which makes for a good backdrop for a milestone celebration.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Do you coordinate with a caterer or the venue?

Yes. If there's a venue coordinator or a caterer, I'll touch base before the day so announcements, meal timing, and cake land where they should.

Is the quote the final price?

Yes. My quote is my invoice. Package price plus any travel line you've already seen — nothing added after the fact.

What happens if your equipment fails?

I bring a full backup system to every event, not just a spare cable. If something goes down, the music keeps going and most guests never notice.

What do you need for power?

One dedicated standard outlet is enough for most parties. For bigger lighting setups I'll want a second circuit so the lights don't share with the sound. If it's an outdoor party with no power nearby, tell me early and we'll plan for it.

What if it rains?

For an outdoor party I need a covered spot for the gear — a tent, porch, or garage works. We'll talk through a rain plan when we go over the space so nobody's scrambling on the day.
