New Harmony's two 19th-century utopian communities — the Rappites, then Robert Owen's social experiment — left behind a town unlike anywhere else in the Tri-State: restored historic buildings along the Wabash River and the Workingmen's Institute, Indiana's oldest continuously operating library. The town has long hosted weddings, festivals, and retreats, so backyard parties here often share a block with a two-hundred-year-old building. New Harmony is Zone 1 — no travel fee — and Terry brings the same setup here as anywhere else in Posey County.

Who shows up to DJ my party in New Harmony?

Terry Tunks, every time — no subcontractors, no rotating staff. The person you talk to on the phone is the person running your sound and mic on the day, and that's been true for 1,200-plus events with zero no-shows.

Is there a travel fee for New Harmony?

No. New Harmony is in Spectrum Sound's Zone 1 home market, so the package price is your full total.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Can we plug in our own playlist?

You can, but you don't need to — send me your list and I'll work it in and read the room around it. If you'd rather run a playlist yourself for part of the night, that's fine too.

Do you MC, or just play music?

Whatever fits your party. Some want announcements, games, and a hype man; others want great music and no mic. Tell me your style and I'll match it.

Will your setup look tidy?

Yes. Cables are managed, the table is skirted, and the rig fits the room rather than dominating it. It should look like it belongs there.

What music do you play?

Whatever your crowd wants. I've DJ'd since 1987, so the library runs from motown and classic rock to current pop, country, and hip-hop. You set the direction; I read the room from there.

What's included in the price?

Full sound system sized for the room, a wireless mic, MC and announcements if you want them, dance-floor lighting, and unlimited requests — on every tier. Higher tiers add more hours, upgraded lighting, and extras like fog and a second mic.
