Nashville is Music City — the Grand Ole Opry, the honky-tonks along Broadway, and Vanderbilt University all draw crowds from well beyond Tennessee. Nashville is Zone 6 — a flat $500 travel fee, with an overnight stay generally part of the plan given the distance from Evansville. Wherever your party lands in the metro, the same setup and personal attention apply as any closer booking. Davidson County runs on Central time, same as Evansville.

Party DJ FAQ — Nashville, TN

Who shows up to DJ my party in Nashville?

Terry Tunks, every time — no subcontractors, no rotating staff. The person you talk to on the phone is the person running your sound and mic on the day, and that's been true for 1,200-plus events with zero no-shows.

Is there a travel fee for Nashville?

Yes — Nashville is Zone 6, a flat $500 added to the package price and shown as its own line in your quote before you sign. It never gets blended into the package number.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Do you ever need to stay overnight?

For most bookings this far out, it depends on the schedule. If load-in, teardown, or a late end time makes the drive home unsafe, lodging is billed separately at $200 per room per night and disclosed in your quote before you sign — never a surprise afterward.

Can you do a slideshow or video?

Yes on the Party Plus and Full Send tiers — bring the file, I'll handle the playback and the timing so it runs when you want it to.

Do you walk through the venue beforehand?

When possible, yes. I like to see the space in advance to plan setup, power, and flow, especially for a room I haven't worked before. For a backyard, a few photos and a quick call usually cover it.

How early do you arrive to set up?

60 to 90 minutes before the start time, sometimes more for a tricky room. Setup and teardown are built into the package and never eat into your hours.

Can you play clean versions?

Yes. Tell me the crowd — kids, grandparents, coworkers — and I'll keep it clean. I'd rather know ahead of time than guess.
