Jasper was founded by German settlers from Pfaffenweiler in 1847, and the town still celebrates it: Strassenfest fills the courthouse square the first full weekend of every August with three stages, a Friday-night hot air balloon launch, polka, and a Bier Garten that runs past midnight. The rest of the year, the Jasper Riverwalk along the Patoka River, the Spirit of Jasper train, and the Schnitzelbank give visiting family plenty to do around a party weekend. If your date lands on Strassenfest, book early and plan around the parade. Jasper is Zone 2 — a flat $100 travel fee, shown as its own line. Dubois County runs on Eastern time, an hour ahead of Evansville — confirm start times in Eastern.

Is there a travel fee for Jasper?

Yes — Jasper is Zone 2, a flat $100 added to the package price and shown as its own line in your quote before you sign. It never gets blended into the package number.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

What do you need for power?

One dedicated standard outlet is enough for most parties. For bigger lighting setups I'll want a second circuit so the lights don't share with the sound. If it's an outdoor party with no power nearby, tell me early and we'll plan for it.

What if it rains?

For an outdoor party I need a covered spot for the gear — a tent, porch, or garage works. We'll talk through a rain plan when we go over the space so nobody's scrambling on the day.

Do you play kids' parties?

Yes, and I keep them moving — games, requests, clean music. Tell me the age range and I'll plan the energy around it.

What if the party runs long?

Extra time is $100 an hour, arranged on the spot if you want to keep it going. No separate contract.

Can you do a slideshow or video?

Yes on the Party Plus and Full Send tiers — bring the file, I'll handle the playback and the timing so it runs when you want it to.
