Haubstadt knows how to throw a party — its German-heritage Sommerfest fills the old gym grounds every June with three days of live music, rides, and what the town proudly calls Southern Indiana's finest Bierstube. Add Tri-State Speedway's dirt-track season and The Log Inn, an 1825 stagecoach stop that's now Indiana's oldest restaurant, and you get a small Gibson County town with a lot of practice at gathering people. A backyard birthday or graduation party here runs on that same easy energy. Haubstadt is Zone 1 — no travel fee — and Terry brings the same setup as any Evansville booking. If your date is Sommerfest weekend, plan your start time around the parade.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Will your setup look tidy?

Yes. Cables are managed, the table is skirted, and the rig fits the room rather than dominating it. It should look like it belongs there.

What music do you play?

Whatever your crowd wants. I've DJ'd since 1987, so the library runs from motown and classic rock to current pop, country, and hip-hop. You set the direction; I read the room from there.

What's included in the price?

Full sound system sized for the room, a wireless mic, MC and announcements if you want them, dance-floor lighting, and unlimited requests — on every tier. Higher tiers add more hours, upgraded lighting, and extras like fog and a second mic.

How much space do you need?

A corner or a spot along a wall, roughly the footprint of a card table plus a little standing room, near a standard outlet. I'll confirm the exact spot when we go over the space.

Do you take breaks?

The music never stops. I don't take a set break; if I step away for a minute, a playlist covers it and you won't hear a gap.
