French Lick built its name on mineral springs — Pluto Water was bottled and shipped from here for decades — and today the restored French Lick Springs Hotel and, a mile up the road, the West Baden Springs Hotel with its enormous domed atrium anchor a resort valley that draws visitors from Indianapolis, Louisville, and beyond. It's also Larry Bird's hometown, which the town does not let you forget. Family gatherings here often run around a resort weekend, so guests are already in a celebrating frame of mind. French Lick is Zone 3 — a flat $200 travel fee, shown as its own line. Orange County runs on Eastern time, an hour ahead of Evansville — confirm start times in Eastern.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Can I give you a do-not-play list?

Please do. Send your must-plays and your do-not-plays ahead of time, and I'll build the night around both. I take requests live too, but your list comes first.

Do you coordinate with a caterer or the venue?

Yes. If there's a venue coordinator or a caterer, I'll touch base before the day so announcements, meal timing, and cake land where they should.

Is the quote the final price?

Yes. My quote is my invoice. Package price plus any travel line you've already seen — nothing added after the fact.

What happens if your equipment fails?

I bring a full backup system to every event, not just a spare cable. If something goes down, the music keeps going and most guests never notice.

What do you need for power?

One dedicated standard outlet is enough for most parties. For bigger lighting setups I'll want a second circuit so the lights don't share with the sound. If it's an outdoor party with no power nearby, tell me early and we'll plan for it.
