Frankfort is Kentucky's capital and one of the smallest in the country, tucked into a narrow valley on the Kentucky River between Louisville and Lexington. The domed State Capitol and Daniel Boone's grave overlooking the river draw visitors, and several bourbon distilleries sit just outside town on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Backyard parties and reunions here get the same setup as any closer booking. Frankfort is Zone 5 — a flat $400 travel fee, shown as its own line, and for evening events an overnight stay may be worked into the plan. Franklin County runs on Eastern time, an hour ahead of Evansville — confirm start times in Eastern.

Extra hour $100/hr. Travel is shown as its own line item in your quote — never blended into the package price. Add a photo booth for $300 — no separate delivery charge when it's bundled with your DJ booking.

Overnight policy: if the schedule makes a same-night return drive impractical, lodging is billed separately at $200/room/night and disclosed in your quote before you sign.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Do you ever need to stay overnight?

For most bookings this far out, it depends on the schedule. If load-in, teardown, or a late end time makes the drive home unsafe, lodging is billed separately at $200 per room per night and disclosed in your quote before you sign — never a surprise afterward.

What if it rains?

For an outdoor party I need a covered spot for the gear — a tent, porch, or garage works. We'll talk through a rain plan when we go over the space so nobody's scrambling on the day.

Do you play kids' parties?

Yes, and I keep them moving — games, requests, clean music. Tell me the age range and I'll plan the energy around it.

What if the party runs long?

Extra time is $100 an hour, arranged on the spot if you want to keep it going. No separate contract.

Can you do a slideshow or video?

Yes on the Party Plus and Full Send tiers — bring the file, I'll handle the playback and the timing so it runs when you want it to.
