Clarksville sits where the Cumberland and Red rivers meet, a former tobacco port that's grown fast alongside neighboring Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne Division. Olympic gold medalist Wilma Rudolph was born here, and Fort Defiance's Civil War earthworks still overlook the river downtown. Backyard parties and reunions here get the same setup as any closer booking. Clarksville is Zone 5 — a flat $400 travel fee, shown as its own line, and for evening events an overnight stay may be worked into the plan. Montgomery County runs on Central time, same as Evansville.

Party DJ FAQ — Clarksville, TN

Who shows up to DJ my party in Clarksville?

Terry Tunks, every time — no subcontractors, no rotating staff. The person you talk to on the phone is the person running your sound and mic on the day, and that's been true for 1,200-plus events with zero no-shows.

Is there a travel fee for Clarksville?

Yes — Clarksville is Zone 5, a flat $400 added to the package price and shown as its own line in your quote before you sign. It never gets blended into the package number.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. Once we've talked through your date, I hold it for 7 days with no payment. A 50% retainer, non-refundable, then locks it in the moment it clears. The balance is due on the first of the month before your event.

Do you ever need to stay overnight?

For most bookings this far out, it depends on the schedule. If load-in, teardown, or a late end time makes the drive home unsafe, lodging is billed separately at $200 per room per night and disclosed in your quote before you sign — never a surprise afterward.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can for spring-through-fall weekends. That said, plenty of Party DJ bookings come together on a few weeks' notice — call and I'll tell you honestly whether your date's open.

Can I give you a do-not-play list?

Please do. Send your must-plays and your do-not-plays ahead of time, and I'll build the night around both. I take requests live too, but your list comes first.

Do you coordinate with a caterer or the venue?

Yes. If there's a venue coordinator or a caterer, I'll touch base before the day so announcements, meal timing, and cake land where they should.

Is the quote the final price?

Yes. My quote is my invoice. Package price plus any travel line you've already seen — nothing added after the fact.
