The Dance Floor Promise

Henderson crowds carry the warmth of the Ohio River — country, classic rock, R&B and Kentucky favorites that bring every generation to the floor, in the town where W.C. Handy wrote the blues. I read the room in real time rather than running a fixed set list: send up to 40 must-play songs and your first dance, parent dances, entrance and last dance are locked to the minute, while the rest get placed where they work — a request that would clear a packed floor at 10pm gets moved earlier, never dropped.

Ceremony and reception on one property — the chapel gets its own system on Tier 02 and up, so nothing moves while your guests walk to the hall.

Photo Booth

PicsPhotoBooth, my sister brand since 2010, crosses the bridge with the DJ rig for Henderson weddings: an open-front selfie booth with an RGB ring light and illuminated backdrop bar. Self-serve is $300; printed strips start at $500. Booked with the DJ, the booth is priced as part of the night rather than as a separate rental — we set that at the consultation.

Dancing on a Cloud — $300

For four minutes, the floor disappears. A low, rolling cloud of chilled fog fills the dance floor and stops at the ankles — on the floor at Barrett's with the river dark behind the windows, or in Worsham Hall with the lights down, the two of you appear to be standing on it. It stays down rather than rising, which keeps photos clean, and clears in minutes with nothing left behind. Cleared with the venue at the walk-through, and I run it myself alongside the music.
