From Terry Tunks, Owner

REAL EVENTS.
NO GIMMICKS.

"I'm Terry Tunks -- owner, lead DJ, and on-site production lead of Spectrum Sound. Clarksville is the southern end of the radius I work, and it earns the drive: Fort Campbell and the 101st next door, a manufacturing base that keeps adding plants, a university, and a downtown that has grown up around the riverfront and the new arena. I have been DJing since 1987 and producing corporate events since 1992, and I hold a Business Communications degree from Western Kentucky University, so a program with speakers, awards, and military protocol runs as clean as the sound. You work with me from the first conversation through the last guest leaving -- not an agency's roster."

-- Terry Tunks, Owner & Lead Production Specialist

Book Early: Clarksville is a Zone 5 date, so I take one event that day. Plant dinners and holiday parties cluster in Q4, and Fort Campbell's deployment cycles can move a whole calendar at once -- reach out by August for year-end.

Corporate Event Production in Clarksville, TN

ONE OF TENNESSEE'S
FASTEST-GROWING CITIES.

Clarksville is the seat of Montgomery County and one of the fastest-growing cities in Tennessee, sitting where the Cumberland and Red rivers meet an hour northwest of Nashville. Three engines drive its corporate calendar: Fort Campbell and the 101st Airborne straddling the Kentucky line, a manufacturing base that includes LG Electronics, Hankook Tire, and Trane along with the Google data center, and Austin Peay State University downtown. The riverfront, the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park, the F&M Bank Arena, Old Glory Distilling, and Beachaven Vineyards give the city more real event rooms than most markets its size.

So the events here are plant service-award banquets, contractor and defense-supplier appreciation nights, unit and family-readiness functions, university and alumni dinners, and chamber and civic programs. It is the far end of my radius, but it is squarely inside it -- and a Zone 5 date gets one event that day, a full backup rig, and one person running the program start to finish.

Get a Quote

Every quote is built after a walk-through, in person or virtual. After the walk-through I hold your date 7 days with no payment; a 50% deposit then locks it, and the remaining 50% is due the week of the event. A one-time $275 site-survey fee applies only when an unfamiliar or complex venue needs an on-site assessment before the quote. The number in your signed contract is the number on your final invoice -- always.

The Spectrum Sound Approach

THREE CONVERSATIONS.
ONE PERFECT EVENT.

01

What Do You Want to Do?

Tell me about your event -- the occasion, the audience, the program structure, and what a successful outcome looks like. No form, no pitch, a direct conversation about what you need.

02

How Am I Going to Do It?

I go through the music, the AV, the run-of-show, and the room layout with you -- every production decision that affects how your evening runs.

03

Is It Feasible?

Before any quote is issued, I do a walk-through -- in person or virtual. That's how I build a quote that reflects your actual event.

Common Questions

CLARKSVILLE, TN CORPORATE
EVENT FAQ

How much does corporate event production cost in Clarksville, TN?
Corporate events in Clarksville run $595 for a luncheon or small awards program up to $2,000+ for a full production with presentation AV and lighting, plus the flat $400 Zone 5 travel fee shown as its own line. A plant service-award banquet at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center and an Austin Peay alumni dinner at the Morgan University Center land at different points on that range, so every quote follows a walk-through.
What does travel to Clarksville, TN add to a corporate event quote?
Clarksville is Zone 5 -- a flat $400 travel line, disclosed before you sign and never adjusted day-of. It sits squarely on my regular service radius south toward Nashville, about two and a half hours from Evansville. An event that runs late or loads in early may also carry a lodging line at $200 per room, only when an overnight is genuinely required and always shown on the quote up front. Fort Campbell and Oak Grove on the Kentucky side are quoted at the same zone.
Do you work at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, Old Glory Distilling, or the Austin Peay venues?
Yes -- those are the rooms Montgomery County corporate events actually use: the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park, the event spaces at Old Glory Distilling Co. and Beachaven Vineyards, the Morgan University Center at Austin Peay, the F&M Bank Arena downtown, the Riverview Inn and the downtown hotel ballrooms, and the function facilities on and around Fort Campbell. A city event center, a distillery, a university ballroom, and an arena each have their own load-in, power, and house-AV rules, which is exactly what the walk-through settles before I quote.
Can you produce a manufacturing recognition dinner or a military-affiliated event in Clarksville?
Yes. Clarksville is one of the fastest-growing cities in Tennessee, and its corporate calendar runs on three engines: Fort Campbell and the 101st Airborne next door, a manufacturing base that includes LG Electronics, Hankook Tire, and Trane along with the Google data center, and Austin Peay State University. That means plant service-award banquets, contractor and defense-supplier appreciation nights, unit and family-readiness functions, university and alumni events, and chamber and civic dinners. Program-driven nights with speakers and awards -- and the protocol that comes with a military audience -- are the core of what I produce.
How early should I book a Clarksville corporate event?
Four to six weeks out is comfortable for most Montgomery County bookings; six to eight is better for a Zone 5 date because I hold only one event that day. Fall and year-end fill first -- plant appreciation dinners and holiday parties cluster in Q4, and Fort Campbell's deployment and homecoming cycles can move a whole calendar at once -- so reach out by August for fourth-quarter dates.
What happens if equipment fails during my Clarksville event?
A complete backup system travels to every corporate date -- spare speakers, mixer, and wireless mics -- so a single failure never stops the program. Two and a half hours from home, redundancy is the plan, not the fallback, and I build margin into the load-in so nothing rides on a single component or a tight dock window.
