Spectrum Sound rents and runs AV for meetings and events across Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois: PA systems, wireless mics, projection, uplighting and stage sound, delivered and set up by a Spectrum Sound AV technician.

Full room setup from $550. Larger productions $550–$1,200. Conference production from $3,250. Real number after I see the room.
One flat travel fee by zone, $0 to $500, shown as its own line before you sign. Never per mile.
Backup equipment on every job, 60–90 minute early arrival, full sound check before doors, strike and load-out after.

Pickup-only rentals are not offered. If it leaves my shop, it arrives set up and working.

No fuel surcharge the week of your event. No surprise labor at pickup. The number in your contract is the number on your invoice.

Setup starts well before your event does. By the time guests arrive, levels are set and every light is aimed.

You quote with me and I build the list. A Spectrum Sound AV technician sets it up and runs it, with backup techs behind me so a schedule conflict never reaches you.

Most jobs are planned free from a floor plan and a call. When a room needs a physical site survey, it's a one-time $275. You never pay for gear you don't need.

Do you deliver and set up the AV equipment, or do I pick it up?

Delivered, set up and tested on-site, every time. Your Spectrum Sound AV technician arrives 60–90 minutes before doors, runs every cable, sets every level, aims every light and confirms the whole system before your first guest walks in. Pickup-only rentals are not something I offer; a box of gear you have to figure out is how events go wrong.

How far do you travel, and what does it cost?

Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois, plus Clarksville, Nashville, St. Louis and Indianapolis by quote. Travel is one flat fee by zone, $0 in the Evansville home market up to $500, never a per-mile rate and never a range. It appears as its own line in your quote before you sign. If a schedule requires an overnight, lodging is a separate $200 per room per night, disclosed on the proposal.

What does an AV rental cost?

A full room setup, delivered and run, starts at $550. Larger productions with projection, multiple rooms or lighting ballpark at $550 to $1,200, and conference production starts at $3,250. These are honest ranges, not a rate card; you get the real number after I see your room or floor plan. My quote is my invoice.

Do you charge to come look at my venue?

Most planning is free from a floor plan and a phone call. When a room needs a physical site survey, an unfamiliar venue, a complex load-in, rigging, or power that can't be confirmed on paper, there is a one-time $275 site survey fee. It is a standalone service fee, not a deposit, and it means nothing about your event gets discovered on the day.

What if something fails during my event?

Backup equipment travels with every job, and the technician stays for the event. Since 1987 and 1,200+ events, Spectrum Sound has never had a no-show or a failure that a backup on-site didn't cover. If a mic drops out or a speaker clips, the fix happens in seconds, because someone who knows the system is already in the room.

Can I rent AV equipment without hiring a DJ?

Yes. AV rental is a standalone service. If you have your own DJ, band, presenter or house band, I handle the equipment side while your talent runs the room, and your Spectrum Sound AV technician can stay on as operator if the event needs one. Say so when you call and it goes on the quote.

How much notice do you need?

Peak dates go months out, so call as soon as you have a date and a room. Short-notice requests happen, a projector the week of a meeting, a PA for a Friday luncheon on a Wednesday, and if the gear and the calendar are open I'll take it. There is no rush surcharge; the quote is the quote.
